- Catch Story: Me and my dad went out to minnesota for a guided musky trip for my 15th birthday on the 10th but we got there on the 8th so we decided to rent a boat for the 9th. We just got done having a great day of bass fishing catching 32 and seeing one musky eat at least a 16 inch bass when I asked him if we could just try to catch a musky before we went with the guide. So while he was putting on a steel leader I decided to cast and BAMM!!!!!! First cast she hit it!!!!!! I only had 12 pound test on and my drag wasnt working so my dad was trying to chase it with the trolling motor. When I finally got it close enough to our boat it didnt fit in our net so my dad pinned it against the boat with the net and reached down and grabed it and there it was, my TROPHY!!!!!
