- Catch Story: Caught at 10:05 AM on 8 July 2008. Weighed 6 lbs. 2 ozs. and measured 22 5/8 inches. Caught on 6 pound test line with an utlra lite rig using a Culprit 7 1/2" plastic worm. Fish was released immediately after taking photos. It was always a challenge for me to catch Bass until this July morning when I decided to try out the plastic worm and throw into the weed bed. And all of a sudden, I actually caught the Bass of my life. I know it's not a State Record, but for me a sweet accomplishment. I have continued to use the plastic worm and had outstanding luck. My brother recently visited me from Kentucky and during his three day stay, we caught and released 57 Bass; 5 in the 5lb. class using the plastic worm.
