- Catch Story: My daughter finally showed interest in fishing this summer, so I gladly got her her own rod and reel. We went out just before sundown and were throwing top water Hula Poppers into a weed and lily pad bed. After several casts into the setting sun, this impressive Largemouth jumped out of the water with the lure in his mouth. The fight was on to get him to the boat where I was waiting with the net. After landing him, we took a couple memorable photos and sent him back on his way. This was Mallory's first real fish. #prouddadmoment
