- Catch Story: It was our first time on this reservoir. We recently learned of the location of the public access and were excited to fish here. My fishing buddy and I searched all over for fish but there was not much for cover. After a few hours of catching a little fish here and there, we decided to troll to cover more water at a faster pace. About 10 minutes of cruising along a ledge at 18 feet, this beauty hit my white fat rap. I thought I had weeds on at first due to just heavy weight and no head shaking. Then I noticed my line was way off to the side crossing my buddy's line. After reeling in more I finally felt a head shake and I knew I had a nice fish on. Soon it was at the boat and my buddy netted it. We took a couple quick pictures and released it. What a fun catch.
