- Catch Story: I was fishing for bass and pike and the bite was slow. I finally found the fish preferred a bass jig with no movement at all. If I just let it sit on the bottom the current must have moved my craw trailer just right. After a few pike, I had a bite that was abnormal. Something big picked up my jig and simply began swimming away with it. I thought I had a monster pike. After a 20 minute battle this massive, big headed tank of a fish was the catch. Not a prize fish, but an awesome fight.
